FAQ'S

Manual Osteopathy is a hands on therapy that focuses on identifying and treating the root cause of pain by restoring alignment, improving mobility, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. It involves techniques like joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and myofascial release.

Manual osteopathy can help with a wide range of conditions including:

  •     Chronic low back and neck pain
  •     Joint stiffness
  •     Hip and leg pain
  •     Headaches and migraines
  •     Sciatica
  •     Piriformis Syndrome
  •     Plantar fasciitis
  •     TMJ dysfunction
  •     Postural imbalances
  •     Sports injuries
  •     Digestive and breathing issues
  •     Muscle strains and tension
  •     Ankle sprains
  •     Osteoarthritis

While all three aim to reduce pain and improve function, osteopathy focuses on treating the whole body through hands on techniques that restore structure and function. Unlike chiropractic adjustments, osteopathy uses more gentle techniques. Compared to physiotherapy, it places greater emphasis on manual therapy over machines or exercises (though exercises may still be prescribed)

Your first visit will include a detailed health assessment, postural and movement analysis, followed by a hands on treatment. We’ll explain everything before we begin and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals

Most techniques are gentle and non invasive. You might feel mild soreness similar to post workout tightness, but treatment should never be painful. We always adjust pressure based on your comfort

This varies based on your condition and goals. Some patients feel improvement after 1 2 sessions, while chronic issues may require several visits. We focus on long term relief, not endless appointments

No referral is necessary. However, if your insurance provider requires one for reimbursement, we recommend checking directly with them
